Jake got admission to Imperial College London. He wanted to study business, and due to his hard work, he got admission to the college of his dreams. He could not wait to move to London.

Tips to Handle Financial Issues While Studying Away from Home
I have shared some essential tips to get a nice grip on your finance when you are thinking of having academics in London or somewhere far from home.

1. Set a Fund
If you have a plan to get educated in a faraway college or university for yourself or your kids, it is better to plan. Start saving as early as you can. Being stingy is not a bad thing if it helps you reach your goal.
Set an education fund. Decide on your budgets and limits of expenditures.
The more you save, the better you or your kids will be able to survive in college. Talk to the banks near you; they usually have some schemes for education funds where they provide better interest rates. Make use of those.
2. If possible, work for part-time
If you want to survive college well, it is better to get a job. There is the various job you can get as a college student. Retail shops, restaurants, theatres, jobs are not tough to find. Remember, no job is big or small.
It is quite simple to get a part-time job in the United Kingdom if you are not limiting yourself. You can work up to 20 hours per week in many places near your college or university.
The minimum wage is around 5 pounds per hour, but most employment pays you more.

When you are away from home for education and working part-time, things can get out of hand very soon. Try to make a timetable through which you can devote time to both your job and studies.
Don’t be a procrastinator. Delays may result in the accumulation of more and more labour in the end. Exams or tests should be taken on a day off. Avoid multitasking since it will bog down your thinking; remember, you’re here to learn.
Avoid distractions, which may be found almost anywhere. Playing, travelling, and dating are all options, but you need to figure out what comes first. Maintain your routine.
Of course, make time for some entertainment as well. You are not a robot who can only work.
4. Spending: When and How
The frequency with which you should spend your money should be very clear. You should have a planned budget. You know your income, distribute your income to different work or amenities.
You can’t ignore rent or travel expenses. So set aside money for these things in the beginning. Decide your food expenses. Needless to say, avoid restaurants. They will take away all your money for a plate of food.
You also need stationaries, recharge, and other things, and everything costs money. Learn to be stingy. It is alright to have a shirt that is not branded or a pair of shoes that is getting old.
Student life is all about experience and learning; you are not here to show off your clothes and gadgets, no matter how tempting these might appear. Save your hard-earned money for future or necessary expenses.
When you are away, you largely depend on money to survive. Talk to some quick loan lender for some quick cash in case of emergency.
5. Use Technology
Let technology take the driving seat for some time and use it to the fullest. There are various online opportunities where you can earn money using your phone. Technology, the internet, and mobile have brought us many new opportunities.
Youngsters these days use mobile phones to earn handsome amount at younger age. If you can write, begin your blogging site, you can start as a content writer and write for some companies.
Social media can be used to waste time as well as earn. Young influencers these days use social media websites or applications like TikTok or Instagram or Facebook, or YouTube to make videos and earn.
Go ahead if you wish to be an influencer. Posting videos can always help you make money if you can gather some followers, be it a singing talent or acting, dance, or DIY kinds of stuff.
6. Study Loan
A study loan can become your saviour if you are in a good university or college. These loans can help with tuition as well as daily expenses. Depending upon your merit, score, or circumstances.
Taking out loans without a guarantor in the UK is easy for students with good grades. So what are you waiting for? Keep up your grades and arrange a loan for yourself so you can devote your time to better education?
